Surface Preparation:
1. Remove price stickers and wash glassware in warm soapy water. Allow to dry.
2. Dampen paper towel with rubbing alcohol and wipe glass surface where paint will be applied.

Pattern Preparation:
1. Trace “Girls Night Out” and martini glass patterns onto a sheet of tracing paper using pencil.
2. Place pattern on backside of glass and tape in place with a piece of stencil tape.

Painting Instructions:
1. Begin by painting the outside mat on the glass with a band of color. The sample is painted with Hydrangea.
2. When dry, add circles of Fresh Foliage. Accent the edges with polka dots of Cobalt Blue.
3. Small martini glasses are painted inside the Fresh Foliage circle in the color of your choice.
4. Paint a Fresh Foliage square on a diagonal at the top of the photo opening.
5. Paint “Girls Night Out” in colors of choice on the Fresh Foliage square.
6. Accent open areas with polka dots of Metallic Gold and/ or Metallic Silver Sterling.
7. Have fun; be creative!

Finishing Touches –
1. Sign your name if desired and allow drying.
2. To cure the paint follow either the Bake Method or the Air Dry Method:

Bake Method of Curing FolkArt Enamels:
Allow your piece to dry for one hour to be sure all layers of paint have dried. Place the piece in a cool oven. Set the oven temperature to 350ºF and bake for thirty minutes. Glass must heat gradually with the oven to avoid breakage. Do not place glass in a hot oven. After thirty minutes, turn the oven off. Let glass cool completely in oven. Do not use for seventy-two hours.

Air Dry Method for Curing FolkArt Enamels:
Air Dry the project for twenty-one days before using.

NOTE: Food or beverages should not make contact with the painted design. When painting stemware, allow 3/4” along the top rim of the glass to remain paint free.

As an optional detail, attach adhesive backed gems or rhinestones as an accent to the frame where desired.
